The pre-season top 25 came up on Monday and I don’t think there were too many surprises, other than a few teams that made the cut(Arizona and NC State), this looks to be a pretty accurate outlook of how the season will start.
There should be no question about #1 Georgia and #2 Ohio State. The talent that both teams return is considerable, as well as the talent they have acquired in recruiting and the transfer portal. Georgia and Ohio State are the nation’s most talented teams and could play in the national championship at the end of the season.
Oregon and Texas are also looking to have a huge season.
Alabama is breaking in a new head coach that is replacing a legend but they return a great roster.
Ole Miss is looking to play the dark horse in the SEC this season and I think they will be good enough to get to the SEC championship.
Notre Dame always has one of the hardest schedules in the nation.
Penn St and Michigan might take a step back this season.
FSU has a sour taste in their mouth after being snubbed from the playoff so look for them to play with a chip on their shoulder this year.
The top 1o ten teams have a good shot to make the playoff. After that, it’s too soon to say but with twelve slots, it should be a wild year.
