As unusual as our world is right now, nothing can set it right, better or quicker than the return of College Football. With less than 100 days to go until the official kickoff of the season, there are many questions we MUST ask and ponder about the 2020 season. So without further adieu, here are my top questions for teams/coaches for the 2020 college football season:
- Was LSU a one-trick pony last season or do they have more to offer?
- Will Clemson rebound for another title run?
- How does Oregon replace Just Herbert?
- Will Monken open up the playbook to get the dogs past the hump on offense?
- Does Justin Fields make a case for the Heisman this year?
- Can Oklahoma find another Heisman worthy Quarterback?
- Is Virginia Tech finally ready to take their place again in the Coastal? Or will Mack Brown’s Tar Heels take that role?
- Are the gators ready to contend with Georgia and win the East?
- Will the Vols have another early-season hang up or will they shock the world? That schedule is brutal!
- Will Saban nab a true freshman as his starting QB?
- Who will have a better season one- Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss or Mike Leach at Miss St? The Egg Bowl will be “can’t miss TV!”
- Have the Irish come to their ceiling under Brian Kelly?
- Does Harbaugh have much longer in Ann Arbor if he doesn’t beat Ohio St. this year?
- Will Scott Frost field a worthy team in Lincoln this season?
- Will Texas find a way to “get back” in 2020?
- Can Bo Nix lead Auburn to an SEC title?
- What will the season look like as far as the pandemic and the social distancing which will limit fan attendance? Will more people stay at home? How will conferences, schools, and the NCAA comply with the CDC’s guidelines for student-athletes and fans?
